Colombia stocks lower at close of trade; COLCAP down 0.03%
Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.03% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (BVC:ETB), which rose 6.67% or 5.00 points to trade at 80.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p) added 1.71% or 320.00 points to end at 18,980.00 and Mineros SA (BVC:MAS) was up 1.15% or 40.00 points to 3,520.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bancolombia SA (BVC:BIC), which fell 3.62% or 1,360.00 points to trade at 36,240.00 at the close. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC:CFV_p) declined 3.21% or 380.00 points to end at 11,440.00 and Grupo Argos SA (BVC:ARG) was down 1.68% or 300.00 points to 17,600.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
US coffee C for December delivery was down 2.39% or 6.47 to $263.78 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 8.21% or 634.00 to hit $7,088.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.96% or 25.40 to trade at $2,684.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.01% to 4,221.27, while BRL/COP rose 1.02% to 777.25.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 100.94.
